The traps were in the water fully baited (with pollack) for three days. I fully expected to have a nice catch since the last time I checked them I had 10 keepers. Well I was quickly dissapointed when the first trap came up empty as did the second and the third. Ok by now I’m thinking a few scuba diveres aka lobster poachers emptied my traps. Trap number four quickly changed my mind. The lobster in trap number four was huge (5.5lbs). It was the only lobster in the trap mostly because there wasnt any room left in the trap.

I put the traps back in the water without re-baiting. Very little bait in any of the traps. I’ll try to re-bait tomorrow if I am lucky enough to find the pollack again.
