The 2009 Boating & Fishing Season Begins
Let’s the games begin, the 2009 season has officially begun! The boat is on the slip as of (5-6-2009) Wednesday. I took a quick ride to shake off the cobwebs and she seems to be running well. I’m looking forward to getting the lobster traps back in the water this week and also some bottom fishing. The Cod and Haddock reports indicate the bite on the bank has been pretty good the past few weeks. There are also a lot of mackerel in our waters now, I’ll be looking to fill the freezer with as many macks as I can find. I think some fresh fish for Mothers day is in order. Stay tuned!
