Inshore Cod Fishing
I was out this past Saturday to do some inshore Cod fishing. We put the lines in the water a few miles off the north river. A few drifts over a hump produced lots of shorts on each pass. There were plenty of fish but nothing in the keeper range. After not having much success fishing the structure we drifted into deeper water and found a few nice keepers. We snagged a few mackerel on the Cod jigs so I’m guessing it won’t be long before the water in thick with them. It was a great first day fishing even with the cold rain.
