Fishing Log
We had plans to hit the middle of the bay in search of football tuna but right out of the gate the error message came back. I had already emptied the gas filter / water seperator once but no luck making the error go away. We decided to fish the high tide (7pm) near the Plymouth power plant instaed. We were almost around the Gurnet when the engine started having trouble. The filter had some debris in it that made it to the fuel injection…not good! I could not operate at more than 8knts. Dispite the problems we did troll the channel anyway. We caught a baby cod fish on a striper umbrella but that was it.
We crawled back up the coast at 8 knts and limped back into the slip. I will be pulling the boat out of the water in the morning and delivering it to the local Merc. service center.
Looks like it will be a weekend without the boat :O(
