Tuna fishing
The schools were on the surface and were are hoping to land a few trolling but that was not meant to be. We adapted our plan and set up a few spinning rods and drove directly the schools casting small lightweight poly lures into the mix. I hooked what was probably around a 50 pounder. I ran away like the wind and then ran back at the boat slacking the line. Before I could catch up I lost him. We repeated this effort about 20 more time but could not hook up again. So close but yet so far.
I’ll post some pictures later of the whales and sharks we saw during our outing. We were out near the YY and then around H for most of our tour.
