The 2006 Boating Season is Near

I have been stockpiling fishing gear over the winter. I purchased new rods, reels, and tackle. I am so ready to get this boating season rolling it is not funny but I have some work to do before my vessel is ready. She needs a fresh coat of anti foul bottom paint, a wash, a wax and a few minor repairs (fishwell pump and main bilge pump need replacing). I took the shrink wrap off last week but I still haven’t done any of what needs to be done. This could be the year I hire some one to do the hard work ;) . Know anyone who is looking for a few extra bucks? I have been stockpiling gear over the winter. I purchased new rods, reels, tackle and tomorrow I am going to order 10 new lobster traps

The Green Harbor channel has been getting narrower and shallower each season despite of the previous dredging efforts. This time around Marshfield could not wait for the Army Core of Engineers to fix the problem. The condition has become so dangerous that a private firm has been hired to deal with the situation. I hope they are finished before the area starts to get busy.

This blog is about to come alive again so stay tuned!
