New England Lobsters
If you waited a full 65 years to have your first New England lobster once you have tried it you quickly realize you missed the boat all those years. In a New England seafood loving family it would seem impossible for such a person to exist. A fresh New England Lobster is at the top of the seafood list in my opinion so I was extremely surprised to learn that my Dad had never tried one. I just assumed that somewhere along the way he tried it and decided he didn’t like it. This was not the case because he had actually never tried it. That is until last week when he sat down and enjoyed his first lobster in our dinning room. It wasn’t until I saw that he needed some instruction with how to crack/eat it that I realized he had never had one before. Growing up my grandparents, Nonna and Bubba (God rest their souls), were always at our house eating lobster so how could it be that my dad never tried lobster? Everyone else in the family loves lobster. Whatever the reason was he now knows what he has been missing and needless to say he has had a few New England lobsters since.
