The birds were working all along the coast as well as miles out into the ocean. The first half mile off the shore was loaded with striped bass feasting on peanut bunker.

Marshfield Striped Bass Blitz

Over the past few weeks we have seen striped bass swarm the Brant Rock and Green Harbor coastline on many occasions. On the most recently occasion (this past Monday morning 10-16-06) the schoolies were chasing the bait right into the beach. There were bunker bouncing around in the sand along the waters edge for about a 200ft span. It was a pretty amazing site.
